This book was not the best I have ever read. At the start the book was quite slow I think but we started to figure out some things about what happened. I enjoyed the middle part of the book as it was intense and quite scary but towards the end of the book I feel it was kind of rushed. I was so confused at what was happening towards the end pages.

i wasn’t expecting much based off of the reviews, i got this from a charity shop at random. it was pretty enjoyable and i read it in one sitting. it’s definitely a slow burn and i wouldn’t exactly call it scary but once it gets going i didn’t want to put it down. i read people were bothered by the ending but i thought it was okay. read 9/3/23-10/3/24 4hr52

I read about 70 pages of this book and then put it down for months because I couldn't get on with it - then finished it in one afternoon. Very slow start but got much better after the initial uphill slog of the first quarter.

I really loved the pace of the book and kept me eanting to know more. However i imagined a different ending and was disappointed that it did not turn out to be what i expected.
