I thought this book was going to be a quick read of a coffee table book but it was so very much more! I won on this one. Not only did I get to see tons of photos of children in childhood throughout the ages, but I also got a deep dive into the history of and psychology of the concept of childhood. This book contained so much of the joy and hope of childhood. I read every page.
