This feels like 90s feminism.

Also it's like Georgia O'Keeffe the play and there are only so many flower vaginas you can see in your life.

This would be so boring to see live.

A powerful and essential read. This play holds the real stories of millions of women who have experienced awful sexual violence and who join millions of others seeking to reclaim and celebrate the word vagina.

Despite some social elements of the foundation of this play being a bit outdated, this is still a really great read. I would highly recommend specifically reading the 20th Anniversary edition, as it has some wonderful additional history information as well as more inclusive language and frameworks in the additions.
The actual monologues within the play are so so well done, heartbreaking, empowering. Sadly I feel this is still a must read, even 20 years later.

A very important piece for its time that is still very powerful these days. I did find some trouble with the pacing, I believe it is better to watch the play on stage rather than just read it.

The actually monologues were good, an interesting look into feminism 20 years ago. The bits at the end about the extent of the vday project were the most interesting

This is, by far, the BEST book I have ever read in my entire life. Every girl and woman should read this book. Hell, EVERYONE should read this book. If you are female, reading this book will be a religious experience. It changed my life. Please, do everything you can to get your hands on this book. You will sob, guttural, from a place deep within your vagina, and laugh from that same place.
