A very interesting book about the objects in our night sky. I've always been interested in space and planets and so I've found this book quite interesting. It was so entertaining. Some of the math and science went over my head, but I really enjoyed the author's way of explaining what we would see and experience if we were standing on various planets and other objects in the galaxy. The author had an easily digestible writing style and makes the material accessible to the laiman. Overall and enjoyable and educational book.

I enjoyed the book and learning more about space from someone clearly so passionate and knowledgeable about it, and I loved the little vignettes about traveling to these different worlds. But nonfiction is always more difficult for me to get through than fiction and there were definitely times where I had to reread the same section multiple times and even then wasn’t 100% sure what the author meant. Still, a good book!

an enjoyable space book! I liked the framing (visiting various planets and space objects) and I found Phil's narration to be entertaining and cheerful while also explaining things at a reasonable depth. it did take me a month to get through this though, so it wasn't maximally gripping. but still a good read!
