Super sweet romance with really good spice. It was a little too much “you complete me/it’s always been you vibes” which are just a little syrupy sweet for my taste but I love me some soulmate tropes.

I fell in love with all the fun, kooky characters in Stephanie Archer's Queens Cove series, and now I'm preparing to do the same with her Vancouver Storm hockey series.

Pippa and Jamie come together after big changes in their lives.

Jamie has just moved to be closer to his mom because of her anxiety and panic attacks, and Pippa because her highschool boyfriend of 6 years broke things off (in an airport over the phone!) after being a royal douche their whole relationship.

Neither are looking for a relationship, but Daisy the dog, old friends, new friends, a cranky bartender, and a yoga instructing sister make the journey to HEA a joy.

I love Jamie's cranky, but sweet and possessive, but proud personality.

honestly could i have written a better book? probably.

but it’s not the worst thing i’ve read and there was so much porn i didn’t really care about the plot anyway

apparently the next one is good so hopefully that’ll be a bit better

This was cute! They were so obsessed with each other, almost too obsessed at times. I probably could’ve done with 50 pages less and been fine, but happy I read it!

Made me roll my eyes too many times.  Also his nickname for her made me gag.  I also consumed it via audiobook and the male narrator sounded like a fifty year old sportscaster instead of a young 26 year old athlete.

There are better hockey romances out there worth your time.
