What can I say about this book other than that I loved it!

The Blood is Love picks up right where Black Sunshine leaves off ( definitely need to read that one first) and we get so much more from Solon and Lenore. I love this world of vampires and witches and all the details that go into it. These two are so wonderful to read about and their romance is beautiful even with all that they go through. This dark paranormal romance is one you won’t want to miss!

Wow!! This book was such a fun (if that’s the right word, I’m not really sure) dark ride. I loved being back with Solon & Leonore. And this time, we got to travel to a different part of the vampire worlds. There were some very dark & unexpected twists and turns in this second book in the series and I was here for all of them. Now I can’t wait for Wolfe’s book and then DRACULA’S book!!

2.8 I guess, much preferred book one as it was more plot driven than this. Seemed kinda rushed and everything just happened real quick.

Spicy

I wasn't expecting the level of spice I discovered in this, but it was fun to read. This is the second book of Lenore and Solon's story of vampires and witches with a unique spin on magic and vampirism.

Both Lenore and Solon have some daddy issues and this book showcases all their family drama in a gruesome way. There are all sorts of nasty beasties lurking in the forest and creeping behind the trees, ready to pounce. It was a little scary at times and perfect autumn reading.

I love the love that Lenore and Solon share. It's intoxicating and sensual, though for some reason I didn't feel it as much in this book as I did the last (lacking the tension of Black Sunshine?), but it was still an enjoyable read regardless. I liked it.

The Blood is Love is like nothing I've read before and everything I needed. Karina Halle's romances are always a cut above but her vampire romance is like none other. The sequel to Black Sunshine, Solon and Lenore find themselves navigating their relationship while trying not to kill each other...literally. Throw in the king of Vampires, Dracula, and the like, and you're in for the ride of your life!
