Loved the movie and really wanted to like this book, but a truly bleak story of a woman in a love starved marriage with a self important bishop. She finds affection with an Angel only for him to leave as well.

I haven't seen this film, but this book made me want to see it. This is an interesting enough book that made me really sad for Julia and intrigued me. I'm guessing that the movie has a happier ending - which is one reason I'd love to see it. Plus, I adore Cary Grant.
