This was an odd, pretentious sort of read that somehow had this quiet hum of hopelessness, desperation, and peace all intermingling with one another. As such a wisp of a read, the book is truly over before you know it, but I feel like it's one of those stories that stays with you and haunts you when least expected even though it didn't especially blow me away? Weird, I know.
