I received this copy in exchange of an honest review. I thought this book was written well and enjoyed the story. As someone who has read tons of suspense I could see the ending pretty much right away. Mia and Brynn are believed to have killed their best friend when they were 13, but did they really do it? In this book we get to learn how Mia and Brynn are struggling in the town they live in because they are suspected killers. They want to find out who killed their friend to clear their names. This one is definitely worth a read!

Oh I liked this! It was surprising and original and the characters are quite relateable cause we all have our things and insecurities. I really enjoyed it, esp the ending!

It was a very Mehh book for me. I was super exited when I read the back and thought the plot was going to be this thrilling teenage mystery but I was left wishing there was more. I enjoyed how 'Lovelorn' (the story that the main characters are all obsessed over) was a foreshadow almost of what was happening/ would happen and some of the world building, but overall it was dry. There was no real character development or arch for literally everyone mentioned in the novel. However if you are looking for a simple rainy day read then this would be for you. I would recommend this for fans of Saddie by Courtney Summers.

Not bad for a YA thriller but I wasn't very invested and didn't find the plot very intriguing or exciting. The characters felt like a mushup of many different cliches and like the author was forcing diversity. It was a quick and light read but I feel like I could've lived my life just fine without ever reading this. I've definitely grown out of the YA genre.

FINALLY!!! Ok, I got 3/4 done with this book super fast then couldn’t finish because of my school read, but I finally finished and was not disappointed.

In the beginning and middle I didn’t like any character other than Brynn. Brynn was always my favorite character, but towards the end I really liked Mia and Wade.

The reveal of who the murderer is was unexpected but anti climatic. I really just wanted something more OMG I GET IT! But I didn’t really get why they made that character the murderer.

Lastly, this book can be considered a “just another dead girl story” but with the lovelorn plot it really made the book stand out. I found lovelorn and everything about it super interesting and new.
