The way the story plays out over the novel is nice and clean. Details are perfect not too much but enough to give you an idea if the settings. Characters are complex and in diverse stages of motherhood. Anlogies/descriptions are well written. Characters are relatable and the main female characters represent the diverse stages of womanhood and the human experience. Multiple perspectives over a few days span. Prologue weaved perfectly into the epilogue, so good I had to read the prologue aagain to really tie it all together. Best book of the year!

I kept waiting for this book to get better and it never really did. There was only maybe one character in the whole book who wasn’t unlikeable. I thought the premise was really strong, but found the book overall just underwhelming and slightly annoying.
