Fairly interesting. Some kinda rough but I don't have high standards for superheros genre anyways. It's not popular comic books with the serial numbers filed off, eg 'Superbman and [email protected]' if you get my drift. I do appreciate the variety but at times it was a bit jarring. Oh you'd go from something lighthearted to oh jesus this is some grimdark shit.

Fave stories Goon #3, Lemonade.

Spoiler “Please. You heard your friend in there. I’m a freak.” She glanced away from him, but she didn’t pull away from his grip.
“I don’t get it. I think you’re beautiful.” “I have vitiligo. I’ve been slowly losing pigmentation on my skin before I was even born.” She held up her arm and showed the missing patch on her arm. “My parents were in the Panthers and they thought a little baby with white skin would ruin their lives. They named me Oleander because I was part white and poison.” “Shit, they sound like assholes.” She shrugged. “I grew up mostly with my grandma. They ended up in jail after they decided to rob a bank. They’ve claimed to be political prisoners every since. They weren’t exactly good people.”

This is so... evil and racist, specifically anti black.

This is a collection of prose short stories about supervillains. Some are quite good. Some are not. All are poorly edited.

Lots of good stories in this one. My particular favourite was Lemonade, which I'm sure I've read somewhere else before but can't remember where. The first anthology in this two book series(so far), also called The Good Fight concentrated on the Heroes while this is about villainous superheroes. I liked it, but still enjoyed the first one more. A good few of the stories in this one weren't as obviously super-heroic in the usual spandex-wearing sense that the first book seemed to be, although I read that one a good while ago so I may be off-base. None of the stories are actually bad though, so if you're on the fence I'd say it's well worth your time, and certainly worth the few pence it cost on kindle.

Enjoyable, but if you haven't yet read the first one, go for that first.
