Every time I think Opal has written my favourite book, she releases something new and out does herself Every! Single! Time!!!!
From the beginning I was searching the pages for an answer to Faunus' dilemma and as it deepened so did the hurt in my heart. I just wanted him to find happiness with Mayumi. A Soul to Touch was a fantastic emotional roller coaster, Mayumi is a wonderfully strong and independent main character she knows exactly what she wants and just goes for it with no fear or hesitation and Faunus is her perfect balance instead of asking her to change and become someone shes not he loves her for exactly who she is. Opal dealt with Faunus & Mayumi's very different traumas perfectly neither felt shoehorned in nor were they wishy washy and half assed, the were written with depth and sensitivity that the reader bonds with them and hurts for them.
A Soul To Touch is by far the spiciest of the series so far and Faunus has THE FILTHIEST mouth and I love it! 5* another fantastic book by Opal, can't wait for the next one!!

I found this book to be a bit of a mixed experience. I initially put it down back in March and didn’t return to it until recently, affected my overall enjoyment. While it had some interesting moments, I felt it didn’t quite keep my attention as much as I hoped. At this point, I’m ready to move on to the next book.

This is officially the best one of this series so far.

Spicier, full of action, a lot of feels, delivers new parts of the universe.

The spicy scenes are SOLID. Kitty is my fave of all duskwalkers so far.

3/4 ⭐️ RTC. I have my stipulations about this book but also believe that I wasn’t in the correct mood to read it! So right now, I can’t correctly rate it!
