This is like 50 Shades of Grey on crack. Except that 50 Shades of Grey is kind of like 50 Shades of Grey on crack.

Wow! This book is too long. It has introduction of BDSM. It is very steamy.
The story is so much better than Fifty Shades of Grey. The chemistry between the characters are off the chart. I like how Miss Barnette takes time to develop the characters and the BDSM really heighten the story. And the secondary characters really play a good supporting roles to the story. I just found a bit odd that Neil does not realize his company is under trouble. He is a billionaire after all...
Anyway, the cliffhanger makes me on the edge. I want to read the second book.

I think I need to explore outside of my age bracket.
I need to stop settling for mediocre orgasms and drive-thru dates.
I need me a 'Mr. Elwood'.
Just flashy enough to claim his wealth but down to earth enough to make me feel... good about myself.
I'm pleased to say that everything from the pace of the story, to the accuracy of the scenes, wowed me. I have to believe that I've learned a thing or two from Sophie and Neil that will keep me happy for quite some time. The ending though, the cliffhanger... Don't get me wrong, I'm reading 'The Girlfriend' as we speak but I wish there was more of a definite end to this book for those that want a standalone.
But 10/10 would recommend. Great Job Abigail!
Sucks that it took me almost eight (8) years to discover it.

Bought this on Amazon for free! ✨️
I read (and bought) this without reading the blurb and checking it on goodreads. And I now forgot where I first saw this lol. Anyway, this started good until after a few chapters. It felt a bit dragging and I found Sophie a bit annoying. The ending is a cliffhanger too but I know I won't be reading the next 7 books.
