I was a bit off put by the prologue but it's the story of a 19 year old girl doing whatever she can for her family. I didn't like the end (I'll leave it there) but I think it adds to realism of the story. I spend a lot of time thinking about what I would do in the main characters shoes and a lot of the times I couldn't find a good answer. Good for 16 up but it think late teens and early twenties will enjoy it the most
