I really liked this book. I really enjoy the audio books in this series. I sometimes get lost in the details at points. I really enjoyed not only the plot but also the characters various paths in this story. It was a much quicker read this time. I loved the focus on tris and also how the mages grew as friends. I did not see the twists towards the end of the book coming. I am excited to start book 3 :)

God I love this book. It does such a good job at capturing the feeling of a child traumatized by family, it was very relatable to child me.
