Yeah so I pretty much hated this book. I had such high hopes bc I loved the first book, second wasn’t great but I thought the story would payoff in this final installment. It didn’t. This book was written and planned so poorly I barely made it through the whole thing.
The whole plot went out the window in favor of the main characters lusting after each other, and before you get excited, no it’s not even good smut. It’s cringy and ridiculous. No one has any character development the “mystery” and questions we were waiting for answers on were glossed over. And the first person narration was horrible!!! Emilia waxes poetic about every non emotion Wrath has for pages even though outwardly he’s just standing there! Ok! And If I had to read Emilia talking about how fierce she is for one more page I would have exploded. She should be the goddess of narcissism!
There is something that happens toward the end that was my breaking point, it’s a serious no no for me for my FMCs. I won’t spoil it but WTF!

Now that i’ve read this, the previous two books makes more sense. I always thought the grandma’s reaction was kinda odd

I rarely give books five stars. The first two books I gave them a three and a four. But this last book? I loved it. I loved Wrath and Emilia’s story. I love the connection they had snd everything they worked through. The ending was perfect and it’s bittersweet that it ended but I’m glad it did the way it did.

That was a whole lot of fierce energy!

This book was full to the brim with information, all of the secrets, manipulation and lies start to come to light and at times it felt like it was dragging a little and falling a little flat…

However, in comes Emilia, she was like a whole different character in this book, she was pure fury, that girl was going to do anything to make everything right again, even sacrifice part of herself to break Wrath’s curse. I loved how her character has grown so much throughout all three of the books and I enjoyed her character far more in book 3.

Wrath though, he was still is hot and stern self but I don’t know he just wasn’t doing that much for me in this book.

Overall though it was a great story and I enjoyed watching how it all unfolds and rights itself. It’s definitely a series I would recommend reading.
