I loved this so much! After reading a bunch of disappointing romance books this was exactly what I needed! The pace was very good and helped to keep you hooked and I really loved Lucy's voice—it all felt like a breath of fresh air and I flew through this book.

"The trick is to find that one person who can give it back as good as they can take it.”
It took me a second to fully get into this book, but I'm so glad that I actually ended up loving it by the end. I tried to ignore the hype and go into it without expectations, which actually helped.
I loved how unapologetically weird Lucy was. "I want to juice your brain like a lemon." Like, she is me. I too would like to crack open some people's skulls and see the inner workings of their minds. Her behavior was odd yet relatable.
It's also good to see an enemies-to-lovers book where at least one character truly doesn't like the other in the beginning (because too often, it's not actually dislike they feel, but tension and longing that they're ignoring), though I wish that at least ONCE these kinds of books would involve true enemies to lovers. Give me a male character who actually can't stand the other main character. Give me characters who literally hate each other and let me watch it steadily grow into love.
But. I digress. I truly enjoyed this book, and I'm sure that if I re-read it, I would like the beginning half more than I did the first time around.
