Hopeful and sexy and reads like the best kind of movie in my brain. I finished it in one day—it’s really that good.

It’s wonderful reading books about talented women with supportive friends/family who allow them to make mistakes and learn and grow.

It’s important to read tingle books with clear consent and respect.

It’s fun to watch (in my brain) two people as they navigate what they thought they knew of each other, who they are now, and figure out what they really want next together.

Also? I really, really want to watch the rom-com they filmed during the book immediately.

I loved Falon Ballard’s other books (LEASE ON LOVE and JUST MY TYPE), and was thrilled to get an early peek at this one, too. I’ll buy and read anything she writes from now on.

For fans of love stories like:
How to Fake it in Hollywood
Will They or Won’t They
Nora Goes Off Script
You Had Me at Hola
Funny You Should Ask
Once More with Feeling
Battle Royal
So We Meet Again
Waiting for Tom Hanks
Ship Wrecked

This was a really cute romance! Emmy writes movies and ends up starring in her latest rom-com alongside her enemy, Grayson. They film the movie in the cutest little town. And the spice is excellent

I have mixed feelings about this one! I love Fallon Ballard and Hollywood romances and at the end of the day, it was a really good book. However, there is a third act break up that is caused by a miscommunication between the 2 MC's that you can see it coming from the 50% mark. It was just way too predictable. There was just so much opportunity for growth, but the author just set it up too predictable and that for me personally made this book not one of my favorites of hers. It didn't stop me from rating it 4 stars because at the end of the day, everything else about the book was absolutely perfect. This is just a personal preference for me. If that doesn't bother you then by all means, go for it.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. As always, all words are my own.

The story is centered around Emmy Harper's reluctant return to acting alongside her least favorite co-star, Grayson West, and is a whirlwind of emotions, humor, and undeniable chemistry. Their tumultuous journey from adversaries to potential lovers against the vibrant backdrop of Hollywood kept me hooked from start to finish. Ballard blends the tension of past conflicts with the spark of rekindled connection, making every page a delight. This book is a testament to the magic that can happen when you mix a well-crafted enemies-to-lovers trope with the allure of showbiz. It is a truly engaging read that I couldn't put down, and I would highly recommend it to any rom-com enthusiast.

Cutie spicy quick read! I flew through this and couldn’t put it down - such a fun story and the chemistry was perfect.

I check to be sure there’s no one around us before stepping into him.
“I can’t believe you would remember something so insignificant after all these years.”
He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.
“Nothing about you is insignificant, Emmy.”

If you hear incessant fangirling about a mile away, it's most definitely me freaking out over this beautiful book! I am so blown away by this book - I quite literally DEVOURED it in a day. Grayson and Emmy are so perfect for each other & so simultaneously stubborn - all the makings of a perfect rom-com<3

I've got to say though, this book was on a one-way train straight to my 5 star reads, but alas, the dreaded third-act-breakup reared its head around the corner ._.
Aside from this, I truly and genuinely really enjoyed myself and cannot wait for this book to make its way into the world on February 27th!

"And if I may pull out some Hallmark card wisdom, the only way you can fail at love is by not letting it into your life."

This is my first Falon Ballard book and I can genuinely say that I will now be headed down a Falon-rabbit-hole for the forseeable future.
It’s Falon’s world & we’re just living in it!

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this arc.
