I read this after The Good Daughter, even though this is its prequel. I don't think it is necessary to do so, but I think it is a good taste of whats to come if you haven't read TGD.
I thought this was a very well done novella, as I am a massive Karin fan, I loved it. I also loved TGD so this was no surprise.
This is a great quick read and still has the classic Karin punch I crave.
