Every human being needs to read this. So good and so needed in a world that is constantly connecting our worth to the way we look. We are so much more than just our bodies and the research these women have done is essential to us (women especially) seeing ourselves as more.

March 2022 Book Club Selection.
My book club was lucky enough to have one of the authors join us by zoom. Should be required reading for young women around 14 and up. Most of us have a lot of work to do on our body image and loving ourselves.

Book club February 2024 pick by Anna

I liked it so much that I bought a hard copy so that I could highlight parts. Which then lead to me waiting to finish it until I had the book in hand.

Really though, there is so much in this book that is pertinent to women at multiple points in our lives. It is also helpful to me as a mother to try to avoid some of the things that might lead to issues for my daughter.

Made me reflect about how I view myself and what I value in myself. Definitely a slow read, would recommend audio but wish I would have been more intentional about taking notes and journaling throughout

This book is incredible. It 100% changed my life, my thoughts, and my view of the world. I think everyone should read this book, whether you struggle with body image/insecurities or not. It’s so eye opening. The studies and statics referenced had me shaking my head in disbelief, nodding my head in agreement and tearing up several times. I hope to one day be 100% free of any body image issues and live in my life for myself. Thank you, Lindsay and Lexie, for writing this book and giving us all this knowledge about how body objectification is everywhere and how we can combat it. I so appreciate you both writing this book. Thank you.
