A lot of good stuff here. There's several things you can revisit later. I like how he covers falling off the path and various scenarios that might cause it. He clearly states it's not a replacement for a real doctor, mental or physical, but it's some nice armchair advice nonetheless. Like most of his books, this'll be something I'll revisit as needed.

A quick Jocko hitter that you can read in an hour or two. Filled with amazing (and sometimes) obvious tips to get you on the path to Become and Eminently Qualified Human.

"The best way to start, is to start. Don’t hesitate. Don’t wait. Don’t analyze or plan or research."

It has an evaluation to see where you at in the path and what you can do to improve. Honestly, I learn that there's some stuff in the evaluation that's is going to be hard to achieve, but the goals are not perfection is improvement.

And remember... "When it gets hard — don’t surrender, don’t give up, don’t quit. Then you haven’t failed. All it means is you need to regroup and reattack. You’ve learned, you’ve gained experience, and YOU ARE STILL ALIVE."
