super flowery
but very repetitive
tagged a few lines but overall i think i want to see something more
also the first part read like fiction, a story and then started diverging multiple ways so that was.. different?

I feel like I need to read more about the context of Rumi before I read anymore poems. These were more enjoyable than the Coleman Barks translations I read, but I still felt like I missed some cultural context.

I think a lot of rumi's spectacular work got lost in the translation. At many points the pros didn't make any sense.
