I liked Jaden, but Claudia needed some real therapy for her abandonment issues for not recognizing the things he was doing for her.

Update 2023: Still the same thoughts!
Another one down in the Rose brother series. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying these books as I make my way through, but sometimes it can be quite difficult to not notice that they are written in a formulaic manner. This specific installment follows Claudia and Jaden who we meet in the previous book. The two definitely have great chemistry and banter that made my audio listen quite steamy. Nevertheless, I think that part of me struggled with Claudia as a character. She struggles a lot with how she views herself and whether she does or does not deserve a healthy relationship. While I completely understand that feeling, it causes a lot of what I perceived to be as back and forth on whether she really wanted to be with Jaden. I don’t typically mind this but I struggled with it in the context of this story. Overall, it was still a solid read and I’ll be confusing to work my way through the series.
