I marked a lot of pieces in this book. While written about how to teach research better in an academic library in a college setting, there were a lot of things that can be adapted to younger students. It was very easy to read, but definitely talks more theoretically than practically about how to do inquiry (though the author does address pushback from colleagues and such). Teachers already familiar with writing workshop will already be familiar with a lot of the content in the book--now just applied to a library setting.
