I really liked the writing style on this one but the story just seemed rushed, especially the ending, I get that it's a book shot it just didn't have enough for me to really get into it.

Interesting story. Miranda annoyed me in the beginning, luckily her character became less of an annoyance as the story progressed.

I got this book through Overdrive and was listening to it at work. It had me on the edge of my work chair so much that I had to finish it at home!

Very not realistic but fun. Page turner that kept you going but being a mom didn’t hit right if that makes sense. Justice is served. It’s just that the events were nonstop in the most unrealistic of ways.

I liked the book OK. It’s not my typical genre, but I enjoyed the story and it was nice to read a book that I could finish in a couple of sittings.

I loveeee bookshots, they’re fast paced and a good quick read and palate cleanser. This one was really good. It’s about a family who are going on a trip to the dad’s friend’s [from work] ranch and on the way there they get into trouble and are being chased by someone and there’s some drama between the parents as the wife discovers that something hinky is going on and her husband hasn’t been honest with her about everything he’s been involved with at work and the bad guys try to twist her mind and her momma superpowers come into play every time she thinks of her baby girl. The ending had me on the edge of my seat and was SUCH a good way to end the book!!
