This book took me a little while to get into, but once I was in I loved it. Completely unhinged in a hilarious way and scary because you can really see how this could happen IRL. The end lost me a little but overall I enjoyed the absurdity of this one.

As scary as, but way too similar to, _The Circle_. And with a lousy ending that seems like too much of a deus ex machina solution. But still, I retain scary, and damn well too realistic a future to my liking.

Pretty good, but I think it would have worked better as a novella. Not nuanced enough or plot-driven enough to justify the length, but the core idea of a spy trying to take down the world's biggest surveillance/commerce/social megacorp (Google + Amazon on steroids) is a fun one.

Dave Eggers gets better and better. Somehow this was even more stressful than The Circle.
