This was a hard one to rate, on one had the book was hard to put down, it was pretty well written, and had a compelling plot... but at the same time I found a lot of the content disgusting. The cheating, not just cheating but going right from one person to another had me gagging. Then the swear words were over used and too repetitive.
The very idea of this book made me so excited to read it, along with some fantastic recommendations from a few booksta gals! Innate good versus evil? Angels versus demons? Blurring the lines? I will take it all!
Luna and Elijah were constantly torn up by complicated emotions and their stubbornness to accept their fate and who they belong to. The angst. The turmoil. The utter devastation. I was on the edge of my seat and salivating for more of the delicious, inseperable connection between Luna and Elijah.
Liza James has drawn me in and solidified her spot as a go-to author!
Between that cliffhanger and getting to observe Stella and Daddy Nathanial, I am more than ready for Descent!!

I'm so glad I caught this book when book 2 was so close to releasing. Another binge read that couldn't be stopped. This book is stunningly unique and while extremely elegant it's also insanely translated into something everyone can visualize. The author was able to keep the story going with tons of information and detail without the reader getting lost trying to put it all together. I was sucked in immediately! A great read I can't wait for the next one!
Holy...
Well sh*t!
Liza was a new to me author a couple of weeks ago, who know cause Quarantine that I got introduced to by K. V. Rose and I am not disappointed!
Dark, twisted, and depraved which is my favorite combination made Fated such an amazing read.

Oh. My. ANGEL.
First off-Liza, I’m so sorry I slept on this for so long, but I’m also not because Descent comes out soon. Also, BEAUTIFUL job with this book. I am DEAD. DECEASED. DECAYING.
Secondly, this book. Read it. That’s it. That’s the review. This book is HOT. This book is DRAMATIC. This book is LIFE. I went through a fallen angel reading period and nothing really caught my eye. I couldn’t get into any of it, probably why I kept writing this off. This book hooks you, sinks you, reels you in, just to push you back under and beg for it all over again.
I can’t say READ IT enough. Beautifully and wonderfully written. I am STILL reeling from the twists in this book.

I really could not get into this series. It was just not for me.
This book was an interesting take on fallen angels. Both mc’s were reluctantly together and it made for some seriously steamy slow burn romance. I really liked Fated and the characters were great. But I actually think I’m more excited to read Descent (the second book)!! Witches and angels and demons and incubi and succubi- I haven’t read something like this before and I loved it
This had a great concept and potentially even better plot but I didn’t like the story telling or the characters.
I love the whole Angels and Demons. This book did not disappoint in that area at all. The back stories of the characters drew me in and it amazed me how all the characters were intertwined with one another. Almost like each piece of the story has its own spot to fit in!
Elijah is the broody Alpha while Luna comes off as strong but struggles with her emotions internally. The characters back and forth drove me mad at times but I loved the story all the same.
Can’t wait for Stella and Daddy Nathaniel next!!

A big shout out and thank you to the publisher and Books and Moods PR for including me in the blog tour and providing me with a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
The synopsis, in my opinion, remains very true to the story. The story is gritty, passionate, difficult, angsty, frustrating. It is also very gripping. You race through the book faster than you’d think possible. The pace does not let up, and even if it did you wouldn’t notice because the emotions of the protagonists keep you enthralled.
They push, pull, struggle and fight against themselves and each other. They face their own nightmares and at the same time pit themselves against their fate, both for the same reason: fear. The book has a lot more pain than love, so be prepared to bleed. There are some interesting plot lines that start to reveal themselves and tie together rather nicely and add to the connection between the characters.
I didn’t think I’d fall in love with another potential couple already, nor did I think I’d be surprised by the antagonist. But I was and I was. I’m utterly invested in knowing what’s going to happen next and curious as to where the author will lead us with her next book.
Four stars! Definitely recommend. There may be some triggers to watch out for, so do check those before reading. Kindle Unlimited users, this book is absolutely free for you. Happy reading!
