3.5

So I’d actually give this book a 3.5 out of 5. First off I do NOT like the author’s writing style. I constantly had to reread certain parts to understand what I was reading. It’s also in third-person which I’m not a big fan of. But it has a great plot and the concept the author is talking about is very interesting. I didn’t enjoy certain parts of the book but I enjoyed seeing the pieces of the story connect. I also wish we saw more than 3 POVs since there could’ve been so much added to the story. For me the one of the only parts I really enjoyed was the plot.

Some of the reviews are a bit harsh. Really interesting plot idea and whilst I agree it could have been a more traditional / enjoyable read if written in a different style it was very purposely done this way to match the viewpoint of the characters. Of course there are still questions because they still have questions!

I really like this book for the most part. The beginning was very much what I expected this book to be, and I enjoyed getting the story form multiple points of view.
Spoiler However, as they started to remember things, I wish that what they had remembered was used as more of a focal point and more important when it came to the end of the book.
The end seemed a little rushed and not as much of a revelation as I was hoping that it would be.
