Just a note to myself: DNF. The start was already too childish, with lots of talk about men's looks (hotness) and voices (growly), and stupid made-up swear words that might be cute to some, but annoying to me. Just wasn't in the mood for this.

In spanish there’s this saying “no hay mal que por bien no venga”, which pretty much is the equivalent to “every cloud has a silver lining”. Knot My Reality was my dark cloud in this instance—it was one of the worst books I read in 2023 and my single DNF for the year. But I’m so glad I got as far as I did while reading it because it meant discovering The Forgotten Angel series, which has so far turned out to be an absolute gem.

merribright has something here. Its
like an angelic bully fated mates romcom and I
enjoyed it. It is a SLOW burn so if you want fast and
smutty turn around. This baby is a slow build and lots
of fighting the fact they're supposed to be together. I
am curious how Arabella will come into play once the
other books come along. With who Feather is to her
and who Arabella is to Gavriel Im intrigued on how this
story will go. Storyline was good although I was
ready to shank a bitch for continuing to tell Feather
she was a scrap, nothing, etc I was ready to be
covered in smut for the gal to know her worth and for
people to know she's a bad bitch.

Damp-o-meter is lower because we have one spicy
scene towards the end of the book and its kinda
vague. Im hoping things heat way the heck up in the
next books

3,75⭐️ this was one of the better RH/Whychoose I have read in months. The FMC is kind of funny, light hearted and kind of a badass. The only thing that pissed me off is that she kind of got insecure at the end about one of the MMC'S when that has not been her nature at all, and then made some stupied choice because of the other MMC. But other then that it was good, an easy joy of a read. And it has a good plot so far.

The 4 MMC'S are a good mix of all the stereo types you have in RH/Whychoose. The sweet one, the Jackass one, the evil one and the mysterious one. Looking forward to really get to know them some more tho one of the MMC's said something I myself wouldnt forgive just because he was jealous.... but lets see how this goes

I really enjoyed Feather’s story. At first I thought she was funny but kinda childish but she grew on me. Her attitude was great and I loved her dirty mind. Also, her nicknames for everyone made me cackle. Growly Bear. She was so giving and brave. I hated the cliffy and I need book 2 right now so I know what the heck happened.

So, I finished it. It was alright.

It's a start to an RH, but a slow one for sure. The groundwork and foreshadowing for what happened in the end was 100% there throughout the story. It was refreshing to see something like this without a deux ex machina or a last minute save or a sudden idea that fixes everything. One of the reasons for 3 stars.

It's interesting that I didn't mind this too much since angel stories have a bad reputation and tend to be bad, too. Another reason for 3 stars rather than 2.

I liked Feather. Sometimes she'd come across as childlike, but overall, she kept me reading. The author knows Feather deeply and this made me want to know more about her.

The story was ultimately boring tho. I kept starting and stopping and even at one point I was going to DNF, but the uniqueness of the story, Feather, and the build-up to the end helped me finish it.
There was insta-love and it was borderline annoying and one of the reasons i almost DNFed, and yet I wasn't completely mad about it bc she only has one of her harem by the end, and the other 3 will likely complete the next steps in the 2nd book. So a bit slow, which is what i like. I wish the guys would've built up to liking Feather tho rather than just admitting to a "feeling they can't explain" when it came to lusting for her. Or how special and different she is. Bit of a special snowflake syndrome here.

On to the next. I'm holding out hope that things will increase in pace!

Happy reading, Goodreads fiends.
