How do you rate a memoir on a topic such as this? It gets 5 stars because I simply can’t imagine giving it anything else.

A short read but one that will not leave me anytime soon. David Carpenter did a great job of the intro and afterword, painting the picture of his relationship with Augie, the lingering effects of this lived experience, and how he was able to put this book together.
