Nope. Just nope. Derek is just.. and then Lucas.... and just... Derek is an idiot, Lucas is a jealous mofo, and Faith is just really ignorant. Like no. The ending was unexpected is just like the first book and leaves you wanting more. I started reading it soon a few months after I read Blood on the Moon, but stopped because it was so stupid and gave up. Then I felt like finishing it a few months later, and hence the beginning of this review. Its just.. WHY WHY WHY WHY?!?!?!?

Really good book, lots of action, and plot conflict, must read the first book, can't wait for the 3rd!!!

Sometimes I just wanted to throttle Faith. I hoped that since I liked her considerably more at the end of Blood on the Moon, that I might like her throughout this whole book. . . I thought wrong. I enjoyed the book, and can't wait for the sequel, but I cannot get past the fact that Faith has a brain, but apparently, doesn't feel the need to use it. I do have to give her props for my favorite line in the book when she threatens to stab someone with a stiletto, that pretty much rocked.

I did not read the first book in the series Blood on the Moon, but the author established relationship’s and made the backstory clear enough so that I never felt lost.

I did not like the heroine. Faith was whiny, short sighted, and selfish. I never felt bad for her as she endured her trails (most of which could have been avoided if she didn’t cut people off so quickly). I wanted Lucas and Derek to find another chick to fight over. The story was full of adventure, drama, and twists. And the other characters were very likable, even the villains (in a love to hate sort of way).

If you like Twilight, then you’ll like this book.
