I just know Cal is gonna put both Rowan and Declan to shame.
Lana was it. She wasn't a pushover at all, she wasn't annoying or anything. She was amazing. Cal had issues, he annoyed me at first ngl, like i wouldn't put up with his shit, but then he tried, HE TRIED SO HARD, to get better for him and for her. All the little things he did, how he remembered all the tiny details, GOD I MELTED. i never wanted this book to end.
Lauren Asher knows how to write all right, shes an amazing author and she writes the sex scenes so WELL. It wasn't awkward or horrifying to read.
I love the character development we got to see with Rowan and Declan. ADORABLE. Declan going to therapy for Iris?!??!!? safe to say, he has my heart now.
No book is complete with the epilogue where they get a family and they're just cute and cozy with each other and shit. I loved the epilogue and everything about it, Cami is perfect, she's such an adorable daughter, her bribing Cal to give her 1000 dollars every time he swears?! GENIUS.
Overall 5/5 book, this series was *chef kiss*, I hope the next book is on Lorenzo Vittori and Lana's friend, Violet

"It took me a long time to realize loving someone didn't mean accepting them for all their faults, but to call them out on their issues because you care enough to not want them to suffer."
What an amazing way to end this series :') Something about couples who fall out of love and then find their way back to each other is just so beautiful. Lauren Asher did an astonishing job with this series, and it'll forever be one of my favorites, especially Cal <3

“I always thought we were meant to be. I might have screwed up the timing a bit, but that doesn’t change the fact that there is no one I want more in this world than you.”
Wooooooooow I loved Cal so much…so sad to see this series come to an end but so worth it

Spoilers for this review because I have to complain.
I loved everyone most of the time, especially how the brothers were better to one another. I loved Iris and Zahra and I loved their friendship with Cal.
And I especially loved Cal and I loved his way with Cami and I also loved her. As you can see I loved a lot.
I also loved Alana, most of the time but I also was annoyed by her. I could understand that it was hard for her to trust Cal but she didn't seem open for it until Cal went to rehab and I also understand this BUT Cal is still human and often she said or did things because she didn't trust him and knew it would hurt him and instead of looking out for his feelings a bit she just said she wished she could make him feel better but didn't. Yes it was reasonable to not trust him but looking out for his feelings is something he still deserved.
AND wth was the problem with this town? HATING Cal and riding on his addiction because he left Alana and broke her heart in the process? Which he did because he dealt with his own demons and ADDICTION and yes he purposefully said hurtful things so Alana let him go but that's it? Looking out for her? Okay. Telling him not to break her heart again? Okay. Hating him, treating him like shit, using his addiction against him and telling him he deserves the worst? Not okay and absolutely unreasonable. If he would have done worse, I would have understood why they would tell him to gtfo but just because he left?
I also love how Wyatt after the festival was like "Well we are trying to cut him some slack but he blocks everything off", 1. Yeah I wonder why; 2. Their trying to be nicer was cutting the insults and only glaring at him whenever they saw him. Yeah good job.
I mean maybe I am a bit biased but I think it's still unreasonable. Aside from that and the fact I wished there would have been more time with Cal not being totally anxious to go into town (rightfully so) I still love this book with my whole heart and most of the characters.
I will definitely buy more Lauren Asher books.
