One of the better Gothics I've read in recent memories. Surprisingly steamy and detailed in that department while most Gothics tend to keep that information implied and scarce. I suspected the culprit all along but the ending fit the genre's theme. Will went from sometimes cute to a surprisingly horrid personality in a child, but at least he was realistic enough. Sometimes the 'hero' had too much of a temper to fall for him completely, and the heroine could be a bit irritating with her doubts - but overall she was a winner with her shrewdness, loyalty, and spirit.
