Laurel Hart is 29 and due to a messy divorce where she lost everything including her matchmaking business to her ex-husband Lance, she needs to start her life and a new company outside of Dallas. Her goal is to try and get her new business up and running but has never operated in such a small town before.

Mick Ramsey is 35 and manages the feed store in Somewhere, TX. Although he also has a secret that he wants to keep away from everyone else in Somewhere and that is that he also writes screen plays and has won 2 tickets to the Oscars.

When Laurel lands Mick as her first client she will do what ever she can to find him her perfect match. Yet she must also fight the feelings that she is developing for him for the sake of her business. But will her ex-husband be satisfied with the sacrifices she has made or will he go to any length to destroy her?

I really enjoyed this book!

I felt so bad for Laurel in losing absolutely everything to Lance and I wasn't sure if her lawyer was useless or Lance's was just that good. I was happy that she found Somewhere, TX as her place to start over but right away when she got Mick as a client I knew she'd be in trouble!!

I absolutely loved Mick! He was such a gentleman coming to Laurel's rescue so many times and how he helped her out without expecting anything in return. I could tell he really didn't want to be Laurel's client but didn't want to disappoint her by saying no.

I was so mad at Lance at the end of the book but again Mick came to her rescue and I would love to have a book where Lance gets his karma thrown back at him!!

Such a great book and I love the town of Somewhere, Texas!!

Laurel has lost everything except her business in her divorce. But she is determined to start over somewhere new, somewhere like Somewhere, TX! This quaint and quirky town may be just what she needs.

Mick Ramsey is one of the few people in town who can keep a secret! He has been writing at night and managing the local feedstore business during the day. But when his need for a companion on a business trip lands him at Laurels door, will he get the girl or will Laurel's bad track record with men put him in the friend zone?

Great read and well worth the pennies. I love Somewhere, TX and all its craziness!
