Badass FMC with instant connection but slow burn
I really enjoyed Kade and Becca's story. It was a quick and easy book.
Becca was a badass. The connection between the two characters was instant, even though this was definitely a slow burn read.
I'm so curious about the other Brash Brothers.

The first time they kiss, she leaps away from him over a table and says “parkour” and then they just never acknowledge that. But I can’t forget. I just can’t.

I marked this book as read but I actually DNFd it at 50%
I was so excited for this series but this first book is a total let down. It’s trying to hard to have funny parts, the emotions of both MCs is all over the place. Up and down and up and down. The background story for the guy is a bit too dramatic and over the top. Like his wanting to be a fixer upper for broken women just gives the ick. It’s like watching bad acting, but I’m reading it….
I will pass on finishing this and reading anymore in the series.

I get it, he had a rough upbringing, but the constant self sabotaging is exhausting. And the "Why would she do that to me?" when she defends herself and Holly was a huge cringe. I didn't dislike the FMC as much as some people did, but Kade annoyed the absolute piss out of me.

Absolutely fantastic! I loved the every bit of it! It wasn’t just spicy scenes but genuine story. Actually the first romance book I’ve read like this. Strong female lead, broken male lead. I absolutely LOVED all of the characters! Every. Single. One! I will most DEFINITELY, read the other brother books!! Lovvve love love it!!!
