Rating might've been higher if I hadn't figured out who did it pretty quickly and if Hannah hadn't been so annoyingly stupid. All in all, it was okay.

Good armchair mystery! Ruth Ware delivers a good one as usual! Kept me on the edge of my seat.

*Audiobook Review*
A clever, but quite lengthy story of an "It" girl and her posse. Retold in Hannah's perspective of before and a decade after the murder of her college roommate. Lulled for some time midway through, but certainly picked up pace again, especially as the story began to reveal more secrets and surprises.

About 100 pages too long and for how oblivious the main character was for the entire book, she figured out who the killer was awfully fast in the end.

This is a very good example of Ruth Ware's style. It keeps you guessing and really gets into the mind of the main character. A lot of reviewers will say this book could have been shorter, but Ware really gets in deep to the overthinking part of her characters. Being someone who is an overthinker, I can relate and enjoy this. It can feel like it's droning on if you want to just skip to the point. But if you want to feel the emotion of the characters, you'll probably enjoy it. I've read most of Ware's books at this point and this is an excellent book in her catalog. I can usually guess who did it, but this one kept me guessing.
