i liked it fine but i think this book more than the others suffers from the lack of a jeff POV. we still don’t really know anything about him as a character outside of surface level behavior and it’d be a richer story if we knew more about him. loved daphne and nina’s arcs in this for almost all of it. the author seems so bored with beatrice as a character, her sections are such a drag and so surface-level compared to sam and nina/daphne. i will probably still be reading book 4 when it comes out but hopefully we can finally get the long awaited jeff pov and have ethan come back!
