I wanted to like this one more. It’s probably a 2.5/3 Stars for me though and mostly because of Isa. I love Rowe’s cowboy series, like seriously love it a lot. So I was hoping I would feel the same here. Luke was great. I understood him and felt for him. While Isa was annoying and so naive it was ridiculous. And then when she would get made at Luke because he knew the truth even if she wasn’t willing to see it when it was smacking her in the face. The writing and storytelling were done well and enjoyable. I just could get over how Isa handled herself and the betrayal she does is not cool.
