Loved it more than expected bc I dnfed the first book. I laughed and I tried not to cry. This book was really cute, the main couple was really cute and their banter was the bets part of the book hands down. However, their interactions with side characters weren’t that great tbh. Maybe bc I skipped the first book I missed out on certain details of their dynamics specifically Cal and Iris like they are just bffs but no backstory. The development between Iris and Declan was great, but the development of the side characters and background of the story was kinda missing.

Although I did enjoy reading this, I felt that it started to drag when halfway through the book. There was no spice scenes. It was just only banter and the tension building.

Then once the spice scenes, I started to lose interest, but it did bring me back, but towards the very end, I had to force myself to keep reading.

I think for me, it’s because it’s almost 500 pages and the first 300 are so pages weren’t tension building, but banter.

That being said, this was very good writing wise, since I did give up on the first book Because of how dry everything was, this book, felt more well written with their dynamic and the conflict.

I enjoyed it, but I don’t think I would reread this!

This was another great book in the Dreamland series. I enjoyed the dynamic between Declan and Iris.

This was a cute read and I had a good time with it. The characters were good, the plot was decent, and it had a few tropes that I enjoy.

I love Lauren Asher's writing style so much because it's so easy to read. I loved the grumpy/sunshine troupe, even though Declan was a bit insufferable. I did enjoy it more than reading Fine Print.
I loved seeing Lauren doing a crossover scene with her Dirty Air Series. (The scene where Declan is watching F1)

I absolutely loved seeing Cal being a supportive friend.

Didn’t expect much from this, throughly surprised. Thought every chapter read like a one shot I had a lovely time reading it.
