I've read and loved every single one of Jesse's books, so when I saw Sainted was coming out, with themes of rich boy, Enemies to Lovers, and falling for their kidnapper? Sign me right up.

Although this book had dark themes, I could NOT stop laughing. Damon (Demon) and Saint (As$hole) were amazing and hilarious together. We start out learning that Damon has been kidnapped by Saint and is being held for ransom as he is the heir to a billion dollar company.

We first see obsession through Saint's eyes while he was watching and stalking his victim, learning his schedule and waiting for the moment to strike. Then, after Damon is released... we get the absolute same from him, and oh was it GLORIOUS.

I absolutely loved seeing this bratty, spoiled man go THROUGH it to find his kidnapper. How utterly and completely obsessed they both were for each other? Yes please, I would like some more.

Again, it was a completely different story than anything I've read from Jesse and I was absolutely HERE for it. Check your TW before reading as again, this book has dark themes and some kinks that may not be for everyone.

What a pleasant surprise. I bought this because it was on sale on Audible thinking it would be a filler book. I loved it!

I was expecting a really dark story but this author weaves humor and light heartedness into a dark premise. You start to fall in love with the characters as they fall for each other.

Audio: 4 stars for the dual narration by Tim Paige and Michael Dean
Book: DNF @23%

um yeah, I need to stop getting lured in by good narrators on mediocre books... yes sometimes they make the book better but sometimes it really highlights the boring. This book had the latter happen.. I was bored, when they started hooking up I didn't care, it was just blah.

I am not listening to 2+ more hours of this nonsense haha, the year just started and I am already slumping pretty hard lol

Also thought I could get through at least January without seeing "cum gutters"... unfortunately this book killed the streak lol
