This book jumps about a bit in time and can take a while to get into, but I don't think it's as bad as some reviews make out. Worth a try if you're a Jodi Picoult fan, it's not a classic, but worth a read!

LOVE Jodi Picoult. Love her. In fact she is one of my favorite authors. I was HIGHLY disappointing in this book until reading other reviews. I didn't realize this was her first one and that completely makes sense. It was a hot mess. Lol. Not only having WAY too many view points for my liking but the book didn't go in chronological order and wasn't consistently dated (or dated correctly if I remember right). So each view point you read, you had to guess what point in the timeline it was. It was just...not good.

MY ADVICE: don't even pick this book up to read, ESPECIALLY, if it's your first Jodi Picoult book. Her later work is brilliant and so much better. :)

I love Jodi Picoult! And although this wasn't one of my favorite of hers, but of course I still have to give it to her!

I thought this was terrible, couldn't even read more than a few pages.

I was quite worried to start this due to seeing low star ratings!

However, I’m a huge fan of Jodi and it is my goal for this year and next year to finish her collection of books. (10 left to go)

I enjoyed this, I was able to fly through chapters very quickly and I enjoyed where the story was going.

Around the last 120 pages or so I did get a little board as you were hearing the story from different POV, and also with my book there was a few spelling mistakes (rolls eyes) BUT apart from that I liked it.

I didn't really love this...I kept waiting for it to really kick in and something good to happen, and then it was the end.

Not her best novel, but still really good. The last 100 pages or so were the best and as always has a strong message that makes you think about your own life.

Not my favorite JP book. Definitely doesn’t hold a candle to her later ones, but was still good. Kind of hard to get used to the timeline with Rebecca’s POV going from end of the story to beginning while the other 4 POVs are told from beginning to end.
