I actually really enjoyed this book and seeing it from 2 characters perspectives as they were twin sisters who both like music in different ways. I think we can all relate to Nancy in a way because some of us would of been obsessed with a band for ages maybe even still now. I just want to know if Nina is going to the music school. Also I like how both sisters became more like sisters in the book. Do I read the next one to see if Nina gets in the school and is still dating chase and what will happen to Nancy?

this book gave me major starstruck vibes ,and that is probably one of the main reasons i picked it up,i loved that film and i was so excited to read this book. i enjoyed seeing the sisterly friendship grow and even though nina and nancy were very different by the end of the book the two became very good sisters and friends. i was able to relate to both sisters and i felt that at the beginning of the book both sisters were responsible for them growing apart in their teen years. this book follows the trope of celebrity falls for the 'normal' girl however this book added its own twist of what if you have a twin sister who is obsessed with said celebrity? this book was a fun read and i would definitely recommend it.
i would recommend this book to people aged 11-12+
if you enjoyed this book you should read:
-starry nights , stage fright and my surprise valantine by liz elwes
-not in the script by amy finnegan
-scripted unscripted by kristina miranda.

I picked this up because I really enjoy twin stories. Despite being quite a predictable story I did still enjoy reading it. The story follows twins Nina and Nancy. They used to be really close but have grown a part as they have grown up. Nancy is obsessed with a boyband and has a crush on the lead singer. After a concert, the lead singer starts a Twitter campaign to find a mysterious girl that he met.

The plot is quite predictable and in places very cliche I still enjoyed it. The book was an extremely quick read and I got through it quickly. Although the story was predictable I did still enjoy reading it and I was invested the plot and I wanted to find out what was going to happen. The last part of the story was quite surprising and went in a direction I was quite expecting.

Overall this was an enjoyable read. The writing and plot are quite basic but overall not a bad read.

In their debut novel, Youtubers Lucy and Lydia tell the story of estranged twins Nancy and Nina, as they rekindle their bond amidst the chaos of a famous popstar falling in love with the twin who isn`t his obsessive fan. A lot of this really reminded me of Zoella`s Girl Online, which I actually quite enjoyed, so I found that fun, and it was different enough to not feel like I was reading the exact same book. I also really liked Nina as a character, even though I wasn`t so keen on Nancy for most of the book (though she did grow on me!), and I thought the romance with Chase was super cute. Unfortunately, as someone with a health condition that really affects their balance, there were some parts of this book that really upset me. At the beginning especially, there were a lot of references to Nina`s slight clumsiness being `embarrassing` and there was also a section which implied balance issues were a choice, and I found both of these troubling. Between my utter confusion as to how these sorts of things made it into the book and trying not to let the idea that I am somehow lesser because I have issues with balance upset me as it so often does, it really impacted my enjoyment of this. 3/5
