Not only was the story even more magical to listen to, due to the fact that Michelle narrates it, but as I am at a different stage in my life I discovered different parts of the story resonated with me this time around. Such as Michelle's struggle with her career and whether or not to change as well as the special moments of her pregnancy when she expressed that she now had a little being inside of her going wherever she did.
There was still the familiar feeling of admiration for all her accomplishments, the comfort of individuality she had within her marriage and the despair at having the hand over the reigns to the Trump's after 8 years of progress.
Ultimately I am glad that I was finally able to reread this story, in a different way this time and thankful that her story is recorded for future generations to read as I think the biggest dis-service to Michelle would be just to remember her as a former first lady of the White House as she is so much more than that.
