I only wish this were longer! I'd love to hear more about what Dr. Mukherjee has to say on the topic of bias in medicine.

Ah, in spite of removing romanticism from the medical practice, this book makes me wish I would be a medic. Not going to happen, but as long as I can glance back at this book, it is possible that I am going to regret it.

A very short book, but crammed with wise stories and insights. It’s easy to think of where we’re at now as the end point, and that we’ve “figured out” medicine, but really there’s a lot more uncertainty than we’re often willing to admit.
Will definitely be reading this again.
