I only kind of read this one. Basically didn't finish. The second half I skimmed through. By then I had pretty much lost interest. While the author tried to make objective lists of chemical compounds interesting without being alarmist, I felt this book fell short of that. Putting it down, I left feeling less like I had learned something than that I had been complained to. Maybe it would have worked better in its original form of separate articles?
