I think when a book means so much to you it’s hard to give it an adequate review. Like Mr Knightley said, “If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more.” This book stared into my very soul and made me understand myself in a whole new way, and it gave me so much hope for my future. I laughed and cried and was rendered speechless. I felt like I WAS Georgia.

I saw this book on the shelf and became intrigued by the cover and was pleasantly surprised to find that I learned a lot about myself while reading it. I resonated with Georgia’s asexuality and understood her. I enjoyed her friendships and self-discovery. I liked the style of writing, although there were a lot of pop culture references and I am not a fan of that.

My main dislikes were the slow pacing for the first half of the book and the repetitive narration by Georgia- a lot of telling without showing. I felt that the characters fell flat sometimes and could have been better developed, although I loved Rooney; no complaints there. I related to her past relationship trauma and really felt for her.

Overall, this was a pleasant book that made me feel seen. I think this book is miscategorized as YA and seems very firmly New Adult to me. That being said, I would recommend this, but only to older teens and up.

Loveless by Alice Oseman was great! As an Aro/Ace it was really nice to see how some others felt about finding out who they are.

This is the first book by Alice Oseman that I've read . It surprised me . I didn't know what to expect going in and I'm glad I read it . This was a book club book.

Loveless follows Georgia as she and her friends go to university . She always thought she was straight and was going to find love someday . She doesn't know why she can't crush on anyone ,only to realize in her university journey that she's asexual /aromantic . This book follows her journey with her friends , discovering that there are other types of love out there .

I definitely recommend this book. It was insightful and heartwarming .

a pretty basic but enjoyable read. i liked gaining an understanding of how difficult it is to truly be comfortable with your own sexuality, no matter if you choose to label it or not.
Spoiler i won’t lie and say the reminders that georgia read fanfic weren’t a little annoying, but i’m glad they stopped mentioning it once the plot actually ‘started’.

I absolutely loved this book, feeling very seen by Georgia's experiences navigating relationships, university life, and discovering oneself. The writing keeps a quick pace, and the interactions between Georgia and her friends are funny and endearing. I also loved that while the book explained certain identities in the text, it didn't feel preachy, but a natural part of Georgia learning
