A retelling of the Pied Piper of Hamelin story, with time to look at the people in Hamelin and the piper himself. The protagonist is a woman who lost her hearing due to cruelties and has suffered more since then. She is the only one to lend a sympathetic ear to the piper and receive one back. A good tale, though it could be a tad longer with more time to explore things.
Moderate: Ableism

Enjoyed this quick read, had to donate it to a young person to also enjoy. Graphics were great. Story was short but well developed.

I’ve never read The Pied Piper of Hamelin, but I enjoyed this retelling and I liked the art style

First graphic novel I had ever read. Not a bad way to be introduced to this way of reading!
