A quirky whodunnit about a cast of butlers trying to solve a murder. This one was a lot of fun to read, but it was quite long and I did find myself getting a little bored at times.

What a beautiful novel. So strange to have read this while and after watching The Bear season 2. Service. Centred calm. Quiet observation and reflection and joy for others.

Deeply reflective and somehow gentle, despite violence, weather, and humans being their flawed exuberant selves.
