One of the main things that I like about this book is that it helps simplify things that might have been written out so long ago and put into words in a way that we today can understand. I think this book would be great for teachers to read to their classroom around thanksgiving time seeings how it was so well researched and thought out that way today’s youth really understand how things went down in history and not just grow up learning about the myths.

My twelve-year-old read this first, but I got my hands on it soon enough and wow! So amazing to learn the real history so respectfully told.

Tons of information, including some I had not read about before, done in a way that will keep kids attention and makes it fun to learn.

Funny, informative, and mixed-media history lesson about the Plymouth Colony/the Pilgrims/the first Thanksgiving. Great commentary for kids about using primary sources and examining biases.
