The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl never fails to make me smile at every page turn. Honestly, if you have not picked up a Marvel comic, a DC comic, a comic in general and you want to read something to get into the hype? Read Squirrel Girl. I love the art style and North's writing is superb, especially the Canada bits, they were too good. I loved every moment of it, and they had a comic about Squirrel Girl's origin and man did it hit in the feels. I can't wait for vol 6!

I loved the Canadian jokes and Enigmo as a (vague, oblique, probably unintentional) comment on the US's current political landscape. Or at least, I was properly weirded out by occasional aspects, like: the fake news reports, his desire to name everything after himself, the unwillingness to comprehend the importance for diversity.......

Enigmo is not my favorite villian, but a many episode long joke about how nice Canadians are is just about worth it. Plus, I just love everything about squirrelgirl.
